In Decatur, a number of school marching bands, churches, community associations and elected officials will participate in the NAACP parade, which has a new route this year. The parade will go from the Ray of Hope Church in Decatur to Martin Luther King Jr. High School in Lithonia.
Paraders should line up at 10:30 a.m. in the church’s parking lot. There will be a rally at the school after the parade.
The Atlanta parade will go from the intersection of Peachtree and Baker streets to the King Center on Auburn Avenue.
