A certified instructor will offer lessons in basic archery. All equipment is included.
From 9 a.m. to noon, adults and children can plant local wildflowers in the “Power of Flight” grassland habitat restoration area and learn why grasslands are such important habitats for wildlife.
Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt and will be eligible for door prizes. The meeting place is at the Alexander’s Lake parking area, where parking is free.
Participants must bring their own snacks and soft drinks, bug repellent and comfortable work clothes.
A certified instructor will offer basic archery lessons from 3 to 5 p.m. for those 9 years and older. All equipment will be provided. If you bring your own equipment, the $10 cost includes an all-day archery range pass.
