Sensory story time for disabled kids

David Schutten, president of the Organization of DeKalb Educators, will conduct the family story time for special needs children and adults with disabilities at the Sept. 8 Multi-Sensory Story Time program at the Northlake-Barbara Loar Library in Tucker.

The program for children with developmental disorders, autistic spectrum disorders, and sensory and mobility disorders includes songs, rhymes and simple stories. The one-hour program begins at 1 p.m. The class is limited to 15 people.
