Pastors and members of churches with small congregations can find tools to build their organizations at the Oct. 4 Iron Sharpens Iron Ministry Conference at the Salt and Light Truth Center in Decatur.

The conference, which is in its third year, will explore topics on developing relationships that will build stronger ministries, ways to overcome today's economic impact on ministry, balancing ministry responsibilities and personal obligations and attracting and keeping church members. There will also be separate sessions for pastors and for their wives.

The 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. conference is a joint project with Providence Community Baptist Church of Marietta. Registration is $40 and includes training materials and a hot catered lunch.

The Salt and Light Truth Center is at 4031 Rainbow Drive. For more information, call Deborah Avery at 404-848-5941.
