Ministry conference targets women leaders

Hundreds of women have signed up for the Sept. 22 to 25 Women in Ministry Conference hosted by the Ray of Hope Christian Church in Atlanta.

The annual conference, which is in its fourth year, will feature eight powerful women from across the country, including Ray of Hope senior pastor and conference organizer, the Rev. Cynthia Hale.

The four-day conference will inform, strengthen and inspire women ministry leaders with subjects ranging from coaching to mentoring.

Tonya Sumter, the Ray's minister to women, said the conference is for women serving as pastors, ministers, professors, chaplains, scholars, executives, activists, authors, seminary students, psalmists and evangelists. She said the theme for this year is 'The Call to Ministerial Integrity.

The conference is at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel Atlanta Airport located at 1900 Sullivan Road in Atlanta. Registration start at $120 per person.
