Women will learn ways to minister to each other at a two-day conference at Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Stone Mountain.
Rebecca Osaigbovo's "Women to Women" conference on Aug. 4-5 will offer fellowship and praise services and small-group breakout sessions with trained facilitators that will allow women to explore topics in more depth and develop a personal action plan.
Osaigbovo, a Detroit, Mich. resident, is a speaker, Bible teacher, trainer and the founder of Chosen Vessels Ministries. Using humor, personal illustrations, skits, and lots of word and visual imagery, Osaigbovo has a unique way of communicating truth that audiences describe as easy to understand, life-changing, captivating, animated, attention-keeping, powerful, and down to earth.
She written books titled "Chosen Vessels," "Movin' on Up: A Woman's Guide Beyond Religion to Spirit Living," and "It's Not About You — It's About God."
Other speakers include Victoria Johnson from Milwaukee, Wis., and Arlene Thomas from Grayson, Ga.
The cost for the conference, which will also be held in Memphis, Tenn., later this year, is $29.
It will meet from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Aug. 4 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 5.
