Before Hosea's Feed the Hungry and Homeless volunteers begin feeding metro Atlanta's less fortunate throngs on Thanksgiving Day, dozens of churches will be praying at a "Thanksgiving Day Prayer 2005" at Turner Field on Capitol Avenue in Atlanta.

The Fellowship of Metro Atlanta Churches, a group of up to 60 churches, is hosting the service in conjunction with Triumphant Church Relief and Kairos Transformation Ministries. Pastor Woodrow Walker, who heads FMAC, said most metro Atlanta churches were invited to participate. After the 8:30 a.m. service, the church members will help serve the Thanksgiving Day meal, which starts at 9 a.m.
