Women's conference seeks spiritual liberation

Two dynamic women, Kysa Daniels of Clarion Communications and Carolyn Jenkins of Women of Vision International Inc., will headline a power-packed seminar crafted with humor, song and straight talk at the "I Am Woman" 2003 women's conference Feb. 1 at South DeKalb Mall.

Hosted by Lithonia-based Females in the Image of Christ Ministries, the seminar's theme is "Bound No More."

It is for women seeking to take charge of their walk with God. FIC president Lanada Ballard said the seminar will charge women to break free from the shackles of depression, debt and self-pity.

Contemporary gospel singer Sandra Barbara will perform hits from her soon-to-be-released CD, "My Love, My Life, My God."

The seminar starts at 9:30 a.m. in Suite 81 at the mall. Registration is $25 and includes conference materials, lunch, a gift bag and an "I Am Woman" 2003 wall calendar. Churches and women's groups are encouraged to attend.

Seating is limited and pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Discounts are available for groups or seven and larger. Register online at www.ficministries.com or call 678-620-3106.
