Nine powerful women speakers will be headlining at the Ray of Hope 2000 Christian Women's Fellowship Retreat next month in Atlanta.
The May 4-6 retreat is sponsored by South DeKalb-based Ray of Hope Christian Church. It will be held at the Sheraton Gateway Hotel at 1900 Sullivan Road.
The conference Seeking the Heart of God -- will feature the Revs. Cynthia Hale, The Ray's senior pastor; Renita Weems of the Ray of Hope Baptist Church in Nashville; Elaine Flake of Allen AME Church in Jamaica, N.Y.; JoAnn Browning of the Ebenezer AME Church in Ft. Washington, Md.; Jessica Ingram of Oak Grove AME Church, Detroit, Mich.; Claudette Copeland of New Creation Christian Fellowship, San Antonio, Texas; Teresa Fry-Brown, professor of Homiletics at the Candler School of Theology at Emory University; Pastor Sherry Gaither of the Stronghold Christian Church in Lithonia; and The Ray's Elder Seretha Crayton.
Workshop topics will include "How to Seek the Heart of God," "Surrendering to the Will of God," "Equipped and Empowered to Win Hearts for God," "I Am My Sister's Keeper," "The Financially Confident Woman," "Living as a Satisfied Single," and for married women, "Forever Is a Long Time."
