Im a Parent at MLK high School. I am upalled that we are forgotten in all facids in Dekalb county. Our fund are low and we are in need of sponsorships and supporters. As a die hard football fan i see our kids struggle to make ends. People this is the only high school in Georgia and the surrounding states to bare his name. I feel like this school deserves everything. I feel like this school should be the the blueprint of what Dekalb county schools should be. Take for example the football team. It has the winningnest record of any high school in Georgia since its exsistence. there should be a replica of the King Center in the school and many other details that depict the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I feel like the King family should make an effort to build a bond with this school for the fact that its named after their father. On Friday nights we generate the most money at Hallford stadium of any high school in Dekalb county. And how much do we get. Not one cent. We cant even sell concessions its lobbied to outside contractors for vending. Something hs to be done about this people. So I'm pleading with the public to help sponsor our school and football team. We need the help.... thanks in advance
