Kids can chow down with Santa and get their photos made with the jolly fellow in Stone Mountain and Decatur.

Volunteers will be rising early Dec. 12 to prepare a hot breakfast for Santa and his guests at First United Methodist Church’s annual Breakfast With Santa event.

The 7-to-10 a.m. festivities include a silent auction, kids room and photo with Santa. A $5 donation is requested and proceeds benefit the Stone Mountain Cooperative Ecumenical Ministry.

FODAC Breakfast With Santa

FODAC’s annual Breakfast With Santa takes place Dec. 13 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Marriott Evergreen Conference Resort in Stone Mountain Park.

The event includes a gourmet breakfast buffet, free park admission that day, and an opportunity to meet and take pictures with Santa and his elves. Each child gets a toy, and the first 300 ticket buyers also get an all-attractions pass to Stone Mountain Park.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for children ages 5 to 11. Children under 5 are free with adult admission.

Proceeds benefit the children and senior medical equipment programs at Friends of Disabled Adults and Children Too Inc.

Mount Patmos

The Rev. Raleigh Rucker, pastor of Mount Patmos Baptist Church, will co-host his 17th annual Breakfast With Santa with State Court Judge Barbara Mobley on Dec. 19 at his Decatur church.

The free breakfast starts at 9 a.m. for kids 2 to 7 years old. There will be games, songs and gifts, and a photo with Santa from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m.
