Adults 50 years and older and others who can’t afford to pay for tax preparation can get their taxes done for free by AARP Foundation Tax-Aide at a number of libraries and recreation centers.
AARP membership is not required to receive the free service which is available to low- to moderate-income taxpayers.

On Feb. 1, Stone Mountain-Sue Kellogg Library is hosting a tax preparation event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m on a first come, first-served basis.
