Sasha the Diva nationally syndicated Talk Show with Rick Party to kick off soon

Atlanta’s beloved radio personality Sasha the Diva is going national as part of the syndicated Rick and Sasha show that will air live mornings starting Jan. 7.

Sasha, a former Kiss 104.1 FM/Atlanta personality, will join former Hot 105 FM/Miami personality Rick Party for the new morning drive program that will air 6-10 a.m. in all time zones.

The Rick & Sasha Show, will be syndicated by Westwood One, the largest audio network in the U.S.

The company says the new weekday morning show, which will start airing soon, pairs two of the most popular Urban voices in the country to target 25-54 Urban AC listeners looking for great music, hot conversation, and interactive discussions.

Sasha's last day at KISS was Sept. 24.

The Rick and Sasha Show, which will super serve females 35-44, will include comedian Benji Brown and other talent. It kicks off with more than 20 stations, but because of a non-compete agreement, it won’t be available in Atlanta until March.

Sasha said the actual kickoff date, and the Atlanta station that will carry the show, will be announced later.

An energetic, charismatic radio host, Sasha has more than 20 years on the radio. She began her career in Baltimore before entering the Atlanta market where she emerged as one of the most recognized personalities. She is known for her ability to connect with listeners.

She has also appeared in movies and television.

Party, a 30-plus year veteran radio host, has a solid reputation as one of the best voices in Urban radio. He has been on radio stations in cities like New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas and Miami and is a known ratings giant. He credits his ability to make listeners feel like they're a part of the show as his secret to success.

Westwood One’s president Suzanne Grimes said the natural chemistry between Rick and Sasha is undeniable and deserves a wide audience with the reach and scale that only Westwood One has to offer.
