On October 3, an estimated 70 Million views watched the debate between P.O.T.U.S. Obama and Willard “The Mitt” Romney. Much of the commentary after the debate favored “The Mitt” as the winner. To my surprise many of the people I talked with after the debate were confused as to why our President appeared subdued or timid and didn’t just put his foot deep in “The Mitt’s rear".

Even those talking heads that supported P.O.T.U.S. Obama were left shocked by the performance of the president. There were implications “The Mitt” was buoyed by the apparent pronouncement of his winning the first debate. Comments from some of those who have a natural disdain for P.O.T.U.S. Obama were he was a liar and lazy.

Now this writer would like to express a view which I believe is somewhat different from what has been expressed by the talking heads and expert political commentators.

The schemes leading up to the debate were to create an image of The President in the mind of “Likely Voters” (AKA White Voters) of an angry, arrogant black man. Some of you may recall the “breaking news” by Fox News, the Drudge Report and other conservative talking heads of the real Obama. This breaking news shocking video was a 5 year old You Tube Video showing then Senator Barack Obama speaking to a black audience.

This writer believes P.OT.U.S. Barack Obama was very smart in not buying into the game of the Caucasian political experts. First, in case you have forgotten the words of P.O.T.U.S. elect Barack Obama, “The very ground beneath their feet has shaken and they don’t even know it.”

Willard “The Mitt” Romney prior to taking the stage with President Obama had made a number of statements which at the least were just “damn lies” with style and no substance.

“The Mitt’s” five-point plan for a Stronger Middle Class is to pursue (1.) Energy independence; (2.) education and skills training; (3.) trade; (4.), cut the deficit, and (5.) champion small businesses.

If elected president “The Mitt” has promised he will create 12 million jobs, replace Obamacare and the Dodd-Frank financial reforms, slash corporate tax rates, preserve the Bush income tax cuts, and then cut an additional 20 percent to boot. How does Mr. Romney propose to pull off this feat of budgetary magic? He isn’t saying. An August 2012 study by the Brookings Institution and the TaxPolicy Center found Mr. Romney’s assorted promises are impossible to reconcile with his claim that he won’t raise middle class taxes.

In the fall, a wide range of economists, including some conservatives, say that it would be impossible to raise enough money from closing loopholes to cover the lost revenue from rate cuts without raising taxes on the middle class. Democrats, including President Obama, seized on one study that put that cost at $2,000 per middle class household.

Mr. Romney, in front of a national television audience, took the opportunity to present himself as a reasonable pragmatist who was willing to work across the aisle— risking criticism that this was another “Etch-A-Sketch” moment for him, potentially reviving accusations that he is a flip-flopper.

Three times he emphasized that while he wanted to lower tax rates, he would offset the lost revenue by ending or cutting back unspecified tax breaks elsewhere — yielding no net reduction in taxes. “I don’t have a $5 trillion tax cut.” “I’m not looking for a $5 trillion tax cut.” “Let me repeat, let me repeat what I said: I’m not in favor of a $5 trillion tax cut.”

With Mr. Romney, now before a national audience and taking positions completely different from what he has been campaigning on for over the pass 18 month his style was impressive though lacking substance.

It was this public position many believe P.O.T.U.S. Obama could have taken Mr. Romney to task. Mr. Obama understood taking Mr. Romney to task on national TV would have played into the scheme of him being an arrogrant angry Black man.

P.O.T.U.S. Obama did not mention the 47% comment of Mr. Romney during the debate. Had Mr. Obama brought the comment into the debate Mr. Romney was prepared before a national audience of almost 70 million people to say he was wrong and was ready to apologize for his comments? This was not to be so Mr. Romney went on Fox News to say his comments of three weeks prior were wrong because he could not say it before 70 million people thanks to P.O.T.U.S. Obama not bring the comment into the debate.

This writer believes the restraint by President Obama was masterful though his real thoughts were telegraphed by his body language and facial expressions. Our President understood he could not be seen on national TV as an arrogant angry black man even though he and everyone who has been paying attention to Willard “The Mitt” Romney knew he was just lying.

Should one review the debate and take notes one will realize the President is a work horse and “The Mitt” is a show horse who will not win the gold on Election Day.

Mr. Romney believes government’s role is to protect and promote the principles of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.

President Obama, said government could create a ladder of opportunity.

You as a voter can choose which man you would like to lead The United States of America based on what each man believes the role of government should be. That’s the way I see it.

Once again, the next US presidential election will be fixed. Mitt Romney will be elected even though Barack Obama would have received more votes in the 2012 election. The political assassination will be perpetrated by Bush hiding behind Crossroads GPS, the most influential group of Neocons.

The Neocons will have Mitt Romney elected to first use him and then let him fall easy prey. All blames and responsibilities will fall on the new Mormon president for the events already planned.

With so much happening so very fast on the national and world stage politically, socially, economically and educationally it is somewhat difficult to focus on any one aspect of the concerns of everyday people like you and I.

In the past week here in the USA we as many around the world have been focusing on the re-election of President Barack Obama and his Republican challenger Willard “The Mitt” Romney. In a previous article I expressed reasons to re-elect Barack Obama P.O.T.U.S. which one could conclude I do not believe Willard “The Mitt” Romney should be the next P.O.T.U.S.

Mr. Romney is as Texas Governor Rick “The Brain” Perry publicly commented a “Vulture Capitalist”. In the business community  a “Vulture Capitalist” look for opportunities to load a company with debt, lay off many of the employees, pay the remaining workers less, strip employees of the pension and retirement, ship as much of the operations over seas and then bankrupt the company thereby the end results is the company closes. As a “Vulture Capitalist” Mr. Romney has the experience of taking over companies, loading the company with debt which then force the company into bankruptcy and thereby making millions for millionaires.

Mr. Romney would surely bring his “Vulture Capitalist” views to the Office of P.O.T.U.S. Mr. Romney has stated the Federal Government is too big and if elected he would bring his business experience to Washington and reduce the size and scope of government. Mr. Romney as a “Vulture Capitalist” would load the national debt with additional tax cuts for the very wealthy and eliminate regulations on corporations.

Mr. Romney would also cut social programs such as Social Security, Veterans Benefits, Food Stamps, Pell Grants and Stafford Loans, Medicare and Medicaid. Mr. Romney has said his first goal would be to repeal the Affordable Care Act (also known as President Obama Cares”) and give tax cuts to the wealthy. With that being the apparent mindset of Mr. Romney one can logically conclude Mr. Romney would bring his “Vulture Capitalist” experience to the office P.O.T.U.S.

Willard “The Mitt” Romney recently at a private fundraiser in the very wealthy community of Boca Raton, Florida stated 47% of Americans pay no Federal Income Tax and these Americans were dependant of the Federal Government to take care of them and are not willing to take personal responsibility.

These 47% of Americans as Willard “The Mitt” Romney claim are victims and only want handouts. Unlike the very wealthy who look to the federal government for policies and regulations to reduce their Federal Income Taxes.

Mr. Romney is as Former Presidential Candidate Rick “Sanatorium” once stated “the worst republican candidate to run against President Obama. Mr. Rick “Sanatorium” is correct in his assessment of Mr. Romney because Willard “The Mitt” Romney will do and say anything with Words of Mass Deception (W.M.D.) to deceive the republican base and the American voters in voting for him as P.O.T.U.S. Anyone listening and viewing the past actions and comments of Mr. Romney would have to agree with Mr. Rick “Sanatorium”.

One only has to look at the facts of Mr. Romney’s premises of why he should be P.O.T.U.S. According to Willard “The Mitt” Romney on domestic issues our country was losing 750,000 jobs a month prior to President Obama being elected and Mr. Romney would like to continue the policies of former President George W. Bush.

President Obama failed according to Mr. Romney the American people by stopping the job losses and only has had 42 months of job growth. The fact is Willard “The Mitt” Romney has a business background and it is not in creating jobs but making millions for investors by destroying companies and out-sourcing the manufacturing of goods and services over seas.

There is also the fact Mr. Romney is not quite ready to play with the big boys of national presidential politics. One only needs to review the past presidential blunders of Mr. Romney which has entertained the media, foreign leaders and caused the true conservatives to distance them with dismay from the presidential logic of Mr. Romney.

The Republican Bosses assured Mr. Romney if he dropped out of the presidential campaign in 2008 because it was John McCain’s turn to run, Mr. Romney would be the republican nominee for 2012 even if he was not the best candidate. Now that Mr. Romney is the man Republican Bosses selected to be their candidate he has become the mill stone around the political neck of the republican brand and others seeking office on the federal level.

Mr. Romney is such a poor choice to represent the conservatives. In fact in order to make the manure of his candidacy a little more savory the Republican Bosses selected the male version of Sarah Palin as his running mate Paul Ryan.

Mr. Romney recently publicly stated he believe in creating “Wealth and not Redistribution”. This is a true statement if you understand the “political wealthy dog whisper.”  What Mr. Romney is saying is he believes in creating wealth for the very rich and the rich by redistribution of the federal dollars saved by cutting federal programs for those who need help and give tax cuts to the rich.

On foreign policy Mr. Romney has indicated he would use a conflict to his advantage, “the political wealthy dog whisper” is money can be made from war…one only has to look at the two previous wars started by the last republican president. The last two wars were put on the Federal Government Credit Card and the outstanding balance was forwarded to President Elect Barack Obama, thereby causing an additional 4 Trillion Dollars to be added to the national debt.

With there being so many arrogant and stupid comments by the Romney-Ryan team, only an arrogant stupid person would vote for these two. Many have heard the 47% comment by Mr. Romney, however there has not been much attention to the question by one of the arrogant stupid wealthy supporters present at the private fundraiser inBoca Raton.

The comment by this supporter was Attorney General Eric Holder is the most corrupt AG in his lifetime. This supporter perhaps did not think a Republican Attorney General being convicted and sent to federal prison was corrupt.

I also believe it necessary to quote some of the leading republican comments concerning Mr. Romney as the republican standard barer.

Bill Kristol of the conservative Weekly Standard had this to say about Willard “The Mitt” Romney, “Romney seems to have contempt not just for those who oppose him, but for tens of millions who intend to vote for him.” However, it remains important for him to win in November unless he chooses to step down and we get the Ryan-Rubio ticket we deserve.”

I believe I have written enough about this arrogant stupid republican candidate for P.O.T.U.S. and his arrogant stupid VP. If you are convinced you should vote for Willard “The Mitt” Romney for P.O.T.U.S. you are forgiven…I will not refer to you as some leading conservatives have referred to “The Mitt”. However, I will reserve the title of being ill-intelligent. That’s the way I see it.

Good article Jerry!

Romney the Mormon could care less about the duties of a President. He is in it for self-gratification. He is rich and bored of things to do with himself. To Romney the Mormon... The job of the presidency is just the ultimate trophy for someone that has everything.

Reasons To Re-Elect Barack Obama P.O.T.U.S.

Now the 2012 Democrat National Convention is in the history records, there were a number of comparisons by many of the GOP and the DNC Conventions.

Although many of the comparisons were by so call experts and or professionals…from this writer’s point of view, the view of people like you and I were not aired. Therefore, I will share a different perspective of the DNC Convention from my point of view.

Former Bill Clinton President paraphrased former President Ronald Reagan comment to Walter Mondale “There they (republicans) go again. Former President George W. Bush once famously stated “fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice…uh…uh…uh…you want do it again.”

Those two comments by two past republican presidents could serve as a warning to every American citizen. My view of Mr. Reagan’s comment is there they (republicans) go again is what the republican party of today are attempting to do. There they go with the Words of Mass Deception (W.M.D.). As for Mr. Bush (W.) comment we should not be fooled again.

If you listen to the GOP Convention speakers perhaps a theme often repeated was “are we better off than we were 4 years a go.” Although, this writer believes there are some who’s suffer from what I would describe as “Political Alzheimer” it is necessary for some memory exercises to remind some where we were prior to Barack Obama becoming P.O.T.U.S.

On January 23, 2009 the market was down to 8,000.86 as President Elect Barack Obama is sworn in as the 44th P.O.T.U.S. OnJanuary 20, 2012 the market is up at 12,702.48 and as of this writing the market is at 13333.35.

At the beginning of 2000 the unemployment rate was at 4% and as a result of US companies out-sourcing jobs from manufacturing to call centers the un-employment begin to increase and today is down from a high of 9.6 % to around 8% in spite of the republican lead congress failure to focus job creation legislation.

Even with the GOP and supporters claiming there concerns for the national debt the fact is in fiscal year 2010 alone unemployment benefits cost about $160 billion, because republicans failed the American People with Words of Mass Deception ( W.M.D.) of job creation being job one when we all know their number one job was to make President Obama a one term president.

With the above few points to think on, this writer would like to reflect personally on the question of “am I better off than I was 4 years ago.” Although, I do not believe President Obama is personally responsible for my current employment status. I can say the banking reform policies President Obama enacted has been of benefit to many hard working people like you and I.

This writer believe the question which should be ask by the talking heads in the media is, would we be better off if the Republicans in Congress had not opposed the policies and programs of President Obama. Many of the policies and programs President Obama presented to congress were policies and programs republicans supported but because our president now supported their policies and programs they now opposed the very policies and programs they once supported.

One of the banking reform policies the president supported had a direct impact for my personal banking experience. What I mean is banks can no longer charge us an over draft charge of $35.00 for being short in our checking account by a penny for a debt card purchase. I can confess I do not balance my checking account however, I had instructed my bank not to allow a charge if the money was not there. I have seen a savings of over $200.00 because of the banking policies of President Obama. I am sure I am not alone in seeing the savings in over-draft charges.

With that being said I believe it is necessary for the voice of everyday ordinary commentators such as myself to offer a perspective regarding the current political climate which seems to present a division of the have(s) and have not(s).

As the Democrats ended their convention there was a focus by the talking heads concerning the speech P.O.T.U.S. Obama delivered. Allow me to quote President Elect Barack Obama, “The very ground beneath their feet has shaken and they don’t even know it.” At his 2012 acceptance speech President Obama said “You know I recognize times have changed since I first spoke to this convention. Times have changed, and so have I. I’m no longer just a candidate. I’m The President.” The statement " I'm The President" is a difinitive comment to those who doubt his position as P.O.T.U.S. and therefore he can not use (W.M.D.) as those seeking to become P.O.T.U.S.

President Obama is not like any previous P.O.T.U.S. except there is the obvious which I will not focus on but there are things about the 44th P.O.T.U.S. which caused many in the Centers Of Influence (C.O.I.) to be concerned and there has been very little open conversation about their concerns.

Many of those in the C.O.I. understand the U.S. Constitution from a Caucasian point of view. President Obama as a Constitutional Scholar understands our Constitution as it should be interpreted for the people for which it was written, not the few privileged in our country but the people of the United States of America.

As a result of President Obama’s campaign slogan “Yes We Can” many of the functionally illiterate understood candidate Obama to state “Yes I Can”. Just as President Obama expressed his concern about global warming Willard “The Mitt” Romney once foolishly stated our President promised “to stop the rise of the ocean.” Only a fool would publicly make such a statement and expect the statement to be taken seriously.

Now the real concern of the C.O.I. in corporate America and the halls of congress is this president has refused to play the game the way it was played by previous presidents. This president has taken the rules of the political, government and business communities and applied those rules to benefit the American people. Yet there are those who can only find contempt for our president because of his desire to have the American Economic and Social Pie divided in part with the American working class which is under paid and over worked, the working poor, the seniors, those with sexual difference, and the new American immigrants.

President Obama, understands in order for this union to continue to be strong there can not be a continuing widen gap between the have(s) and have not(s). History has shown when the people are oppressed they will rise up against the oppressor.

I personally believe President Obama believe in a new America which is not about him but about ordinary people. President Obama understands Americans have to work together for all of us to progress as a nation of many people.

As President Obama stated “we are the change.” President Obama understands as you do, if you have a child who needs surgery you would not want to be denied the opportunity of your child getting the health care needed because of an insurance company limits on coverage or being denied the health care you need because you don't have insurance.. President Obama believes each American should be able to reach their personal dream of earning a college or technical degree or skill. He also, believes young immigrants who only know America as home should not be deported.

This 2012 Presidential election is not about Barack Obama…this writer believes this election is about who will lead our country. Will we allow the over 45,000 lobbyist to influence 535 members of the US House, Senate, The Office of the P.O.T.U.S and the S.C.O.T.U.S. Will we allow the few who can write multi-million dollar checks to republicans to help defeat our president? If you and I do nothing, our voices will be filled by the special interest groups who will do any and everything to defeat President Obama.

This election is about our future and we can not be brought. As Hosea Williams once stated “we are un-bossed and un-brought. You must vote to RE-ELECT PRESIDENT BARCK OBAMA. If you don’t vote for President Obama this time, if you stay at home because of republican voter suppression tactics, if you buy into the cynicism President Obama is a failure, If you give up on the idea your voice can make a difference, then the money barons and special interest groups will win and you will lose. Vote to Re-Elect President Barack Obama. That’s The Way I See It.

Nicole...thank you so very much for your comments. It is very important for each of us to also send a dollar amount to help President Obama.

Every dollar will help the president get his message moved FORWARD. We may not be able to write a check for a $100.00...but we can write a check for any amount.

I want to raise $200,000.00 by October 5, 2012 to help re-elect our P.O.T.U.S. Barack Obama. I need the help of 20,000 people to give $10.00 or more. You can help by sharing this with message with everyone and ask them to share with everyone...thanks

Help me reach my goal by going to ( Jerry Wyatt) my.barackobama.com

I'm raising money on my grassroots fundraising page to help President Obama win in 2012. The President is counting on people like you and me giving what we can afford to build this campaign. Will you donate $5 today to help me hit my goal?.

Thoughts on the 2012 GOP Convention
by bro.jerrywyatt

I would like to offer some ordinary American commentary regarding this past Republican National Convention which crowned the next in turn for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination for P.O.T.U.S. Willard “The Mitt” Romney.

In the interest of open disclosure I must acknowledge I am a CONSERVATIVE and I was an active Republican, a member of the Georgia Republican State Executive Committee serving as one of the vice-chairman and a candidate for public office on the Republican primary ballot.

With that being said I believe it is within my ability to offer a perspective about the 2012 GOP National Convention. My comment is to first condemn the  media and talking heads who have failed the public or who just don’t know a “damn lie or don’t care the damn liar is lying” when speaking about the P.O.T.U.S. Barack Obama.

Many have stated in the media P.O.T.U.S Barack Obama is a failure. It has been said our president has caused our country to increase its debt, has stole $ 750 Billion from Medicare. His policies have caused unemployment to continue around 8 percent and the lies cover perhaps any issue one can think of.

Now, I do not expect many of the GOP of today to respect anything President Obama has attempted to accomplish or has accomplished. As was the goal of some in the GOP “do not support anything President Obama wants to do to move America Forward.” That is the number one goal according the Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.

During this GOP Convention lies and just damn lies were stated by many who spoke nationally at the convention. Now it would take to much time to outline all of the lies so I will not attempt to repeat the lies. However, what I will do is present some basic comments for thought for those who possess the mental capacity not to be bias as many who spoke at the RNC Convention were.

What is the GOP presenting to the American public as their plan for America? Remember, the basic theme of the GOP is tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations, cuts in social programs, cuts in education, and there is even conversation by republicans of eliminating the deduction of interest paid by home owners.

The GOP speakers failed to acknowledge the reason why we lost over a million jobs per month during the 8 years of the Bush presidency was because corporate executive made the decision to take jobs from manufacturing to call centers to places outside of the USA. This decision by many corporate executives increased the profit of their companies but also increased the unemployment of Americans.

You only need to look at the made in label of any of the products you have purchased or ask the person answering your phone call when you dial an 800 number for an American corporation if he or she are located within the U.S.

The speakers at the 2012 GOP convention swore if they win the presidency and win both the US House and Senate they would repeal the Affordable Health Care Act. Think about it? The GOP is publicly stating their goal is to eliminate the ability for readers like you and me to have access to health care at a cost we can afford, to have insurance coverage for pre-existing conditions and a number of other positive benefits.

If there are hard truths which were spoken by the GOP speakers at this convention it is the GOP is more than willing to make the hard decision of providing tax cuts for the wealthy, eliminating any regulations which require corporations to be responsible for the products presented to you and me.

On education Mr. Romney want to cut the US Department of Education and give the states the responsibility to make education decisions. Many today may not understand it was the United States Supreme Court ruling in 1956 Brown v Board of Education which legally ended the so called separate but equal school districts. In fact a little know fact about student loan debt is during the student loan Boom from 2004-2008 more students were deeper in debt just as homeowners were in the sub prime mortgage crisis.

If Mr. Romney think states lead by his party would be fair to minorities and the poor when it come to educational dollars one only need to view the decisions made by republican lead states on the ability to register and vote. If the republicans are willing to make it difficult to register and vote do you not know the republicans would also make it difficult for minorities to get an education.

There is much conversation about the current state of our economy and employment. However, there has been no acknowledgement by republicans about the fact there has be over 42 months of increased employment as compared to the lost of 1 million jobs per months during the 8 years prior to President Obama being elected.

You hear many republican leaders commenting “President Obama is not like us.” Of course Mr. Obama is not like them. President Obama actually is concerned about all of America and many in the Republican Party are only concerned about the wealthy.

In fact Mr. Romney states "the poor have a safety net" and the Romney-Ryan Plan is to cut the social safety net in as many places as they can. Mr. Romney also believes "corporations are people" and therefore his support for tax cuts for corporations is based on his sincere belief of corporations being people.

Noticeably absent from conversation by any of the speaker at the 2012 RNC Convention was the coordinated efforts by republican lead states to suppress or prohibit the poor and minorities from registering and being allowed to vote. As recent as this week at least two Federal Judges have ruled the efforts by some republican lead states as being un-constitutional their efforts to stop the poor and minorities from voting.

Think about it, one of the major political parties (The GOP) is passing laws to stop the poor and minorities from voting and the Federal Courts said stop it and the Romney / Ryan Team and no GOP leader had anything to say about the efforts to stop the poor and minorities from voting.

Much of the GOP Romney / Ryan plan is to go back to the way things were during the Bush years. Romney would like to restore things back to the way they were before President Obama.

Now there were a number of Negro’s who spoke at this years GOP Convention and if you can believe it those Negro’s believe or think things were better prior to Senator Obama becoming President Obama.

This election is so very important and the RE-ELECTION OF PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA is of greater importance. If your life was better during the 8 years prior to President Obama, then you should support Mr. Romney, because Mr. Romney wants to restore things the way they were during the Bush presidency.

My final thoughts about the 2012 Republican National Convention left me asking. If so many the speakers believe Mr. Romney will be the next P.O.T.U.S. why is there so much conversation about which of the speakers will be the front-runner or leader of the GOP in 2016?

Some Don't Like Gold Medal Gymnast Gabby Douglas's Hair...
by bro.jerrywyatt
Aug 08, 2012 | 403 views | 1 1 comments | 8 8 recommendations | email to a friend | print | permalink

The earth we live upon and the lives we live offer interesting commentary for those such as me. With the self serving comment of me clarifying what I am attempting to offer in the form of commentary I ask you to endure me and not take my commentary personally unless you can apply the thoughts.

As of the 2012 Summer Olympics many living within the African-American; Black; Negro, etc….community were not familiar with the name of an American Teen Girl of Color making history on the world stage with over 40 million people watching.

As I read and viewed some of the commentary regarding Gabby Douglas I was able to see two views of the same subject regarding Gabby Douglas. Now, I must confess as the writer of this article I must determine how the two views should be presented. One way is to list each view separately or alternate the two views.

Also, as the writer I would ask you not to form an opinion about the two views but engage in conversations with your family, neighbors, co-workers and friends and talk about what the different views of thought represent.

Please remember this is just my commentary on what is being discussed regarding The American Teen Girl of Color, Gabby Douglas. Young Ms. Gabby has won the first Gold Medal as an American Teen Girl of Color as all round gymnast.

There is no real understanding of the magnitude of the impact this American Teen Girl of Color effectively cracked the glass ceiling of the all around gymnast competition.

There is no real understanding of the magnitude of the choices this young American Teen Girl of Color had to make at such a young age. Gabby Douglas dared to want to be the very best she could and she had the will to fight for her dream.

There is no real understanding of the magnitude of this young lady winning TWO GOLD MEDALS and what the image of her represents to over 40 million viewers around the earth.

There is no real understanding of the magnitude of the sacrifices her Mother made by sacrificing a portion of her child’s life to a family she knew nothing about.

There is no real understanding the magnitude of the thoughts the Mother had after she allowed her daughter to leave the protection and love of her presence.

There is no real understanding of the magnitude of the impact of the life lessons of Gabby Douglas’s Mother. Or how those life lessons were the driving spirits which lead to Gabby Douglas winning as of this writing Two GOLD MEDALS.

Now can you imagine for just a moment…the image of Gabby Douglas could represent any impoverish teen of color anywhere in the world.  There is no real understanding the magnitude of the impact this Teen of Color represents around the world.

With such a grand representation how could anyone focus on anything else that is not of a greater magnitude. Well… I pray this come as a surprise for you to think there are others who could not find a stronger view to offer commentary about other than Ms. Gabby Douglas hair.

Think about it, for what this young girl accomplished there are those who’s greatest concern is this Olympians hair, which had absolutely no impact on her skills, intellect, her instinct to dare to ask her mother to allow her to push harder to succeed.

There are those who may have had the “hair” conversation in the presence of their young daughter. Can you imagine the magnitude of the impact the “hair” conversation on many young girls here in the land known as theU.S.A.?

Now there is a young girl of color who has won two GOLD MEDALS and the " haters” can offer only commentary regarding Gabby Douglas’s hair. Think about it there is commentary about this young girl’s hair.

Some think the way Gabby wore “HER” hair as she competed and the world of over 40 million watched was not up the level of those who put on swim suits and will not get their store purchased hair wet. .

Gabby’s, appearance on the world stage in the view of some which offer commentary is her hair should have been on the 9’s. The view of some is Gabby should have adorned a ponytail purchased from a vendor who did not look like her or would plant seeds back into her community.

You got to understand the mindset of anyone who places more emphasis on how their daughter looks as to what their daughter can and will accomplish.

It was interesting the commentary about how one gets to where they are in life is often view by others not knowing the magnitude of what the person endured to reach their goal. Gabby Douglas can lift up her at least TWO GOLD Medal’s and those of us who have watched her know the image portrayed around the earth was indeed of a young black girl from theUSA.

I trust as you read this commentary you did not form an opinion regarding one view or the other. Remember…you are ask to discussed the different view points and engage in conversations with your family, neighbors, co-workers and friends and talk about the different views of thought represented by the people you invest your time with.

Gabby is an inspiration to many. She and so many are just the best and brightest of this world. Red n Yellow Black n White they are precious in every way ! May our Heavenly Father bless them all.

It is so sad that there are those that will make these types of comments. Hate groups and those that just hate have been on the rise since Pres OBama was elected.

Don't forget we live in a State where 150 counties went for Newt Gingrich ! Woh !

This upcoming election in November may descide the final fate of this world as we know it !

And those wishing to take The American Affordable Care Act away from me and 50 million of my fellow citizens, "kiss my lilly white irish behind". It's Obama Care because President OBama does care and he cares for each and every American not just the 2%

Wife looking at spouse arrest

Many of you reading this may not be surprise to know there are a number of Americans and a certain number of Georgians who have a great disdain for P.O.T.U.S. Barrack Obama.

This Sunday while shopping at the Mall of Georgia with my wife, we witnessed first hand how deep the disdain for President Obama is. After exiting the Mall of Georgia Nordstrom Department Store in Buford,Georgia, I notice a Caucasian male writing on my vehicle.

After asking the male why he was writing on my vehicle his response was he “did not like Obama.” This vehicle is driven by my wife and has an Obama 2012 bumper-sticker on the left rear window.

I replied to this male that he must remove the writing he had placed on the bumper-sticker. After several attempts to remove the words he had written on the bumper-sticker the male stated the writing would not come off. My response was whatever he had to do he needed to remove the writing from the bumper-sticker.

Now this is where it became really interesting…this person retrieved a “Tide” stain remover stick from his vehicle in an attempt to remove the writing. As he continued to attempt to remove the writing I dialed Gwinnett County 911.

Three Gwinnett County Police Officers arrived to address the issue. After much discussion the male was arrested for misdemeanor trespassing. Yes he was cuffed and taken to the Gwinnett County Jail.

I felt for the wife and small child with the man until the wife open her mouth and stated "it was just a bumper-sticker and was a harmless prank." The wife continued and commented she “voted for the President but would not vote for him again because he had gotten the country in debt.”

This type of action and commentary by those who have a great hate for our President and what he represents trickle down from the US Congress and some on the daily talk radio and TV programs.

However, on this day wrong encounter right and wrong was cuffed and taken to the Gwinnett County Jail…if only those in the US Congress could be arrested and taken to jail for the disdain they have for our President.

Bro JerryMyer Jackson Jr, I would like to compliment you for your insight and conclusion regarding those who tune their radio to Messrs. Limbaugh and Hannity.

I personally find no fault with anyone listening to the radio programs of either of these radio personalities. I have issue with those who listen to these programs and are incapable of understanding the manure coming from the mouth of both of these radio host/gadfly/provocateur’s is just entertainment, focused toward persons who have no individual logical rational thoughts to add to the public discourse..

Never before in the history of modern presidential politics has any president been so maligned by segments of the American public about something as simple as a birth certificate.

It has and continues to be the conservative Christian right which has been on the wrong side of every major moral issue Our country has faced. History has proven the conservative Christian right to be wrong.

Again, Bro. JerryMeyer perhaps the conservative Christian Church which allow Mr. Gingrich to speak may not truly understand the Gospel of Jesus The Christ. Remember “as you have done onto the least of these you have also done unto me.”

Much has been said about P.O.T.U.S. Barrack Obama not being eligible to serve because he was not a citizen or was not born in the U.S. perhaps a read of the United States Constitution will provide insight as to who is eligible to hold the office of P.O.T.U.S.

Article II Section 1: of The United States Constitution Clause 5: No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

The following is a quote by Chief Justice John Marshall 1821 “the people made the Constitution, and the people can unmake it. It is the creature of their will, and lives only by their will. It is apparent the people made their decision and elected Barrack Hussein Obama as P.O.T.U.S. and that’ just the way it is.

The Paradox Of Our Times

Seventeenth century philosopher Thomas Hobbes said that words are wise men's counters, but they are the money of fools.

That is as painfully true today as it was four centuries ago. Using words as vehicles to try to convey your meaning is very different from taking words so literally that the words use you and confuse you.”

Check out the facts, instead of relying on words, you will discover that "church membership" does not mean you are the member of a church in many instances. For example if one has listen to the news accounts of the allegations concerning the C.E.O. of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church Inc; it is being reported there are over 25,000 members. However, the articles of incorporation state there are no members of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.

In 1987 the church was faced with an issue of a young man alleging the then pastor was involved in a sexual relationship with him. Twenty-five years later the church is faced with similar allegations being leveled at the C.E.O. of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Inc.

Unlike today the church members (congregation) had the authority to remove the pastor from his position as pastor of New Birth. The Bylaws of New Birth in 1987 read in part below;

Article 4: The affairs of the corporation shall be govern by a Board of Directors who shall hereafter be composed of a Board of Deacons and a Board of Trustees, the number of which shall be determined by the membership of the corporation but shall not be less than three adults.

Article 7: The membership of the corporation shall be know as the “congregation” and may vary by the withdrawal of the present members and the addition of others in the future

The “Restated Articles of Incorporation of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Inc April 14, 1997. Eddie L. Long, President, was a very dramatic change.

Article 6: The Corporation hereby elects to have no members. Any action which would otherwise require a vote of the members shall require only a vote of the members of the Board of Directors, and no meeting or vote of members shall be required for this.

Therefore, the reports of New Birth Inc. having 25,000 members are in fact not true. The corporation has over 25,000 people who may attend from time to time and are in fact financial giving units to the corporation.

The paradox of our time in history is we have men/women who are larger than life, but short on moral character. We have buildings of worship where Jesus is exalted and sins are practiced in the name of our God.

We praise the creature over the Creator, while ignoring the word of God which tells each of us to do no wrong. We have mega church buildings and smaller church families.

We have more degreed and esteemed pastors where the sheep of their flock do not really know their pastors.

We witness those who profess the word of God multiply their personal possessions, but reduce their moral values.

These are the days of mega-church buildings, but more broken people. It is a time when there are so many seeking the Light of the Lord, only to be lead into darkness.

A time when man/woman will fall because of choices and the people will lift him/her up because we only want to believe what we don’t know. With a deepened sense of Spiritual healing we as a church community can begin to think of ourselves as being a people of God rather than a religious corporation.

Response to Mr. Vincent kelly

Mr. Vincent Kelly, allow me to address what could be a lack understanding or your ignorance of the concerns of those who call South Dekalb home as it relates to the environmental pollution.

You referenced my comments in a prior article regarding the irresponsibility of civic and elected official. Allow me to enlighten you regarding my view of the culpability of the communities and the failure of the elected officials of South Dekalb to address the environmental issues affecting our communities.

An elementary point to consider is an elected representative is elected by the voters. It has and is those elected representative who have been derelict in addressing the environmental pollution.

Yet the voters continue to re-elect those who have been derelict in addressing the pollution in our community therefore the community bares some responsibility.

Regarding my suggestion to a recall of “each official who has been derelict in their duty on the environmental issues impacting our community.” Allow me Mr. Kelly to point out some of the responsibility of a B.O.C. and the voters of South Dekalb can determine if a recall should be considered if there is evidence of an act of malfeasance or failure to perform duties prescribed by law.

The Mission Statement of the Dekalb B.O.C. is; “to improve the quality of life for the stakeholders of DeKalb County through governance, representation, and accountability.”

One of the core Statements of Values of the DeKalb B.O.C. is “Honesty: We will be honest with each other and our stakeholders by communicating openly and professionally.”

Additionally, here are some of the basic duties and responsibilities of our B.O.C.

Identifying Issues and Needs, Setting Goals, Determining Strategies, Setting Priorities, Accomplishing the Work and, Evaluating the Results.

Mr. Kelly, should you continue on the misguided belief we should not consider a recall of the elected officials who have been derelict in their responsibility on environmental issues perhaps you should consider relocating to one of the cities where you apparently had little if any concern regarding the polluted waterways you spoke of in your article.

I would also address your comment “At some point people are going to have to stop looking for a scapegoat, blaming state and county officials, and take a good look in the mirror and ask themselves.

Mr. Kelly, should you take some time and research the South River issue you will find the community has been asking for federal, state and local governments to address the problems impacting the South River for over 50 years. In case that is not clear allow me to repeat the community has been concerned and have addressed the concerns with government agencies who have failed to respond. Your point of the water in the cities you have resided is not a fair comparison to the South River. The type of pollution in the South River has never been visible to the human eye like the pollution you referenced. The problem is ignorance and ignorance can be cured unlike stupidity Mr. Kelly.
